I am so happy that the month is almost over. It has been a hard month and things have been crazy.

Pretty soon this semester will be over. Thankfully, I am happy.

I plan to spend Christmas break with my granddaughter.

Hard Week

This week has been such a hard week. Everything that could go wrong went wrong.

I still can't believe that I lost some students work. I found it later. It was buried under some stuff in one of my desk drawers.

My son laughed at for a while. He thinks I have lost my mind.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving break. I am going to need it this year.

I haven't been posting much because school is going on. It seems as if things have gotten hectic.

I decided to serve on two committees at the school.

I should have thought that through a little more.

Worked It Out

I worked it out so that all my art classes are in the same room. I detest running from room to room.

Another School Year

I will be beginning a new school year at Absanie Community College. I will be teaching four classes; Drawing I, Painting I, Watercolor I, and Creative Writing.

Drawing I: This beginning course investigates various media, techniques, and subjects. It explores perceptual and descriptive possibilities and considers drawing as a developmental process as well as an end in itself. (MWF - 10-11 AM)

Painting I: This studio course stresses fundamental concepts of painting with acrylics and oils. Emphasis is on painting from still life, models, and the imagination. (TTh - 9:30-10:50 AM)

Watercolor I: This course explores studio techniques in water base media. Emphasis is placed on exploration of a variety of modes and techniques as a means to original expression. (MW - 1-2 PM)

Creative Writing: The writing of fiction is the focus of this course. Included are the short story, poetry, and short drama. (TTh - 11-12:20)

I still can't believe I am teaching this many classes. I normally only teach three classes. It's okay, though. I am happy to do it.

We are having to use the computer for everything in the class this year. I am not sure how I feel about it.
